Meet Charlie Hanson, king of the nerds at the Brighton School of Mathematics and Science and narrator of Love and Other Unknown Variables. This tall, lanky senior loves quantum physics, mind-blowing calculus problems, prime numbers, pi, and Fibonacci. He may also love his sister’s best friend, a new girl in town with an infinity tattoo (even if she so obviously doesn’t understand the mathematical implications of infinity), doodles on her sneakers, and a voice sweet enough to rock the planet right out of its orbit. She certainly knocks Charlie out of his.
